Simply put Vastu Shastra means instructions laid down for building a structure. Vastu Shastra is an ancient term that literally translates to “the science of architecture”. It incorporates the constituents of design, layout, measurements, ground preparation, arrangement and spatial geometry, which are then applied in the construction of buildings to promote peace of mind, a healthy life and well being of its inhabitants.
